The Widget is an online contract drafting service designed and managed by Wiggin, one of the UK's leading media law firms. This web-based system enables you to prepare your own contracts using our contract drafting software, and to download them to your own system when complete. The contract templates are carefully prepared by us and continually maintained to ensure that they take account of the latest legal and commercial developments. The Widget gives you the certainty of knowing your contract is properly drafted, and we can be on hand with advice if needed.
We currently provide sets of the standard contracts typically used by record labels, music publishers and periodical publishers. Other industry contract sets will be added on a regular basis - watch this site for updates. You can also use your own contracts on The Widget if you prefer with our Bespoke service: we will check the contracts and load them onto the system for you to use.
